Arthur Mountaniol is known for his visionary style,multi-voiced throat singing,innovative guitar work and insane creativity.He's a prolific production machine,producing 15 solo albums in just eight years.

"Tails of the Cloven Hoof" is his another new release for 2008 after "Alien in LA"(also available @ CDbaby.com and iTunes.com).

In this work,he takes his imaginative songwriting to the realm of Celtic Folklore.Goblins,Witches and other dream-like images of mystical journey of forbidden love,witchcraft and mild insanity.

His infamous throat singing appears here as well,but at a more sweet-sounding tone so it's almost enjoyable.Although, most vocal parts are sung in a natural vocal tone of his which is really sweet and gentle.

His guitar sounds like a Scottish pipes on tracks "Goblins' Train" and "Cloven Hoof".Other guitar parts are just plainly traditional with a lot of ingenious craft and a great taste.

Rock/folk blended songs with a little touch of electronic drum sampling have fine melodies and harmonies,yet with a few twists and pranks that make it all sound different.

"Tails of The Cloven Hoof" is an amazing collection of beautifully weird songs which are a special soul treat for those who need it -
