Traveling light speeds through the universe of music is an artist, whose talents and unique style stand out like a bright star. Born Maurice Yates, on a cold February night, in the city of Richmond V,A. Mo as he's known around his neighborhood was determined to succeed. For Mo playing instruments and singing started in church at the age of 5, he always felt the energy inside him to entertain. But he kept his talents hidden for most of his teenage years while dealing with growing-up in the rough neighborhoods of Richmond.
After leaving Richmond, to attend college Mo felt the urge to write and record a song about a lost love, not knowing that it would be heard by friend and soon to be Manager Al Floyd, who urged Mo to pursue a career in music. Feeling that this goal was obtainable Mo and long time childhood friend/ producer known as "The Ark" set out to write and produce the hottest material. Blending soulful R&B and bumping hip hop production Mo will prove to the masses that he is a premier producer as well as a stellar singer/songwriter.
