Singer-songwriter,guitarist of(THE MICHAEL PACKER BLUES BAND) Michael Packer's new release the Sunny Side of Me is special.The cover art and lyrics to the title track is created by 8 year old Gabby Kasper from Albany NY.The album contains 6 new originals by Michael Packer.'In My Getaway' features Van Morrison's keyboardist Mark Jordan.'Straight To Her Heart' and Hugh Prestwood's classic 'Dorothy' features former 'Free Beer' members Sandy Allen and Robert Potter.Folk-icon's Paul Siebel's 'Pinto Pony'.Siebel is famous for the hit song 'Louise' recorded by Linda Ronstadt and Bonnie Raitt and Packer's 'New Orleans' a Katrina-based song with percussionist Ed Jackson of the blues band. A fan wrote of Michael Packer, 'He is one of the best kept secret in the US.If that is the case he is truly one of America's treasures'.Produced by Michael Packer and Alan Lorber.
