Songs written by Michael Paige spanning the past several years of living in Los Angeles California. A quirky mix of arena style rock songs from The Profit and puShit to acoustically inspired ballads and love songs, This Time and Without My Heart. Michael comes from a funk and old school soul background. Ala Prince and Chic that has been infused with Zeppelin and AC/DC. Sensitivity and sarcasm. A brightly optimistic cynicism is this Aquarian's trademark. Michael wrote, produced, engineered, mixed, mastered, sang and performed all instruments on all tracks except for the following! Tori "Badass" Ruffin performed the guitar solos on "This Time" and "8 O'Clock". Tori has performed with Prince, Morris Day and the Time, Fishbone, Shalimar, and his own trailblazing rock/funk/jazz band Freak Juice. Wenty "Soul Brother #1" Morris played the guitar solo on "Teacher" and additional acoustics on "All in Vain". He is a past collaborator with Michael in an earlier LA based rock/soul band "Brindle Creme". Blues rock phenom Bart Ryan is responsible for the beautifully moody guitar accents and features on "All in Vain" as well. The blistering leads and additional guitars on "The Profit" were laid down by Romeo Brune, all around whiz kid. Austin Texas "homeboy", Derrick Edmonson adds his jazzy pop influenced saxophone to "Life in LA". Michael collaborated with Tulsa, Oklahoma's Matt Mayes on "Teacher". Michael looks forward to more in the future with this vocal wonder! Michael acknowledges gratefully the contributions that made this cd possible. "'Couldn't have done it with you homies.... Thanks......." Michael Paige
