ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Jamb Kitchen Records www.jambkitchen.com is proud to announce the release of Michael P. Ryan’s sophomore effort “Cashtown”.
When an organic idea comes to life through experience and effort, combined with stunning musicianship and pristine production, a magnificent work of art can be produced. Such is the case here. Bolstered by the brilliant guitar contributions from Larry Chaney of The Edwin McCain Band,
Jeff Stockham’s exquisite horn play and his Civil War era band mates, the long time MPR Band rhythm section of Garrett Knaub (bass) and Joe Rehbein (drums) and the ubiquitous guitar/arrangement/producer skills of Mark Doyle, Michael has found the perfect combination of players and contributors to bring his vision to life. Defying genre pigeon- holes, “Cashtown” transcends to its own place outside the box of “new country/southern rock/singer-songwriter” with soaring gospel choirs and elegant string arrangements, a authentic era horn section and Micheal’s soulful readings.
Listen closely to Michael’s voice as he expresses his deep affection and respect for each story he tells. His heart and soul come through each note as if he lived the story himself in a past life. Become familiar with the depth of perception evoked through true
craftsmanship and you’ll realize this man has many more stories to tell on stages much larger than ever before. Grab a copy of “Cashtown” now and see what all the fuss is about.
