Album Notes

Mr.Bear consists of one member, Jamie Pearson,
who does everything, all instruments, arrangement,
production, artwork, the lot. He even makes the tea
(milk, two sugars, if you are putting the kettle on).
The Mr.Bear sound is primarily electro, techno, and ambient.
The cool kids call it IDM (intelligent dance music).
Much of the music of Mr.Bear has been likened to
movie soundtracks and advertisement music. Which is nice.
Mr.Bear is very much influenced by artists such as Kraftwerk,
Aphex Twin, Moby, Faith No More, Brian Eno, Pink Floyd,
and Boards of Canada.
Mr.Bear has played many a show around the U.K. with
nothing but a laptop over the last 4 years, most recently
playing sets for up and coming Hull label and collective,
Tegleg Records.
Mr.Bear currently has a self produced album called 'MOOZIX'
for sale, which can be found on www.cdbaby.com. 'MOOZIX'
was all written, recorded and produced at home (Hey, i only work
in a chip shop, and studio's are expensive, dont you know...)

Jamie currently resides in Austin, Texas, U.S.A., but likes to
go back to England now and again, to see his Nan.

Although synthesised music isn't really what I listen to much, I do think this is a cracking album, really chillaxed, fun and happy :D Spanglepuss and Scatterbrick are personal happyfunness favourites. :D
