Album Notes

First the root & then the vine came from the songs played when he was a kid hanging out at the Howard Theater in Washington D.C.. Music has played a major part in his life. His mom worked cleaning a Country Radio Station named(WARL)in Arlington Va. when he was a child. Anything other than Country Music they would drop into a cardboard box for the trash man. He wanted these songs so badly that his mother would bring them home on the bus. He would sit in the floor with his little record player and play them over and over until they were a part of him. This went on for many years. All of this wonderful music has filled his heart and touched his soul for many years. Now the time is here for him to share what he's heard and learned from this music. He'll always bring them home to you even better than before. For bookings call 301 574- 2990 or 202 345-1864.

Good smooth soul
author: Bob
This CD reminds me of the "ole school" soul sound. Mr. B has some very good material on here. I would recommend this CD to anyone who likes the classic soul kind of music.
