Album Notes

With more than 16 years of educational experience combined in the Texas Public School System, we have first hand experience with children struggling to learn their basic math facts. We have had more than our fair share of students not being successful in the classroom. Instead of sitting down on the sidelines of education, we have decided to take a stand and create an educational product that will motivate children to learn.

John Flowers is an original hip hop artist tailoring his music to children. He has held many positions in his educational career. Mr. Flowers has held such positions as 2nd grade teacher, 3rd grade teacher, Technologist and he is currently an Instructional Coordinator for the Houston Independent School District. He has received distinguished awards such as Teacher of the Year (2003-2004), Supper Supporter (2006), and he has been nominated for Metropolitan Who’s Who Among Executives and Professionals “Honors Edition” (2007). He has continued to motivate and inspire children to learn through new and innovative ways of teaching.

Hip Hop is the leading force in music today. We have seen children memorize every verse in a hip hop song, but not memorize their basic math facts. We use Hip Hop music in a positive way. We intertwine learning basic math facts with the popular beats and sounds of Hip Hop music today. We believe that music is a powerful resource in motivating children of all ages and backgrounds to learn.

Our CD has received high praise from teachers, parents and children. Children will be eager to learn their multiplication facts. Teachers can use this CD in their classroom listening centers and with daily multiplication drills. Parents can listen along with their children as they play this CD in their cars. We stand by our product. There is no other multiplication CD on the market today that compares to our product. Let the children decide.
