Album Notes

From the soft hills of Vermont, Michael Mrowicki releases his first album , west river sunset...

...Music in the folk tradition, combining voice and fingerpicked guitar, with influences ranging from the Mississippi Delta to the Delta of Venus.

The songs are birthed from the inspirations around & within.

West River Sunset sees a moment through the lens of love. There Is No Line was inspired by the John Sayles movie, "Lone Star" Painting With An Old Brush found its seed near "a bridge at Giverny, on the wall before me."

With 6 string songs and 12 string tunes, thus is this life begun to be celebrated.

"Our time's too short to do any less than learn, enjoy & share"

This CD contains a mixture of songs about love and life. The words speak real life stories of men and life today. I especially like There is No Line - about family and life, and Time Doesn't Have any mercy - where the title tells all.
