Fantastic Fun Folk At Its Best
author: Lilbit Devine
I first heard Will the Turtle be Unbroken in 1999 while driving in Toronto late at night. It has taken me 6 years to find the CD. I purchased several copies so that I could give them to my friends! British humor can be dry & acerbic. If you listen to this CD with this in mind, you will be thrilled with all of the songs. My favorites will continue to be "Have You heard any News From The Iceberg?" & "Will the Turtle be Unbroken?". They stick in your head & refuse to go away.

One great song, 12 okay songs
author: Robert Gidley
I bought this CD for the song "Will the Turtle Be Unbroken?" (a parody of a sappy song called "Will the Circle Be Unbroken?"). The Turtle song is great. The others, well, musically, they're impeccable and well done, but the humor sailed right past me. Some are too obscure, others try too hard, but most try to get laughs by contrasting the subject matter with the musical style (such as "Breaking Wind Suddenly"). Still, the one gem is worth the price and I'm not sorry I bought it.
