Album Notes

In short, 'You're Not' is a pop/rock journey. The album kicks off with "A Better Way", a bouncy reminder of how tough the 9-5 thing is. It sets the tone for this tongue in cheek ride through the cynicism of early pregnancy, family life, and unique perspectives about sex, drugs, suicide, abuse, love, and your everyday Wabbit. What is a Wabbit? A Wabbit is a type of self-replicating computer program. The name "wabbit" is probably derived from Elmer Fudd's pronunciation of 'rabbit' in the Warner Brothers cartoons that featured him and Bugs Bunny. Like rabbits, these programs have an ability to multiply quickly. Once we get into your head, we will multiply and you will sing these catchy tunes all day!

The sound of the Wabbits is driven by the songwriting, lead vocals, and rhythm guitar of Mike Ryan. Robert Harrison on guitars, Leroy Hardy keys, Harry Stark on bass, and Mickey Wheeler on drums give this 5 pc, Florida-based band a unique sound. All members sing and harmonize (background vocals) and contribute to Mike's alter ego! Based in the Gainesville, Florida area.
