Unfortunately, I didn't get to see Midnight Serenaders perform when they were in Port Orford earlier this year, but I was one of the people on the Arts Council board who voted to hire them. GREAT FUN stuff!!! I wouldn't know that I wasn't listening to original music from the 20s and 30s.

The Midnight Serenaders are one great group. Lots of good vocals with fine musicianship and a sound all their own, making it authentic sounding 20's and 30's, but with a slightly different combo of (authentic) instruments than most other current 20's sounding groups, primarily the Hawaiian guitar. Great CD.
