Melvin "Silas" Boyd is a singer/songwriter out of Kennesaw, GA (Atlanta area), who has devoted years to his love of music. He is a musician who plays several instruments, but concentrates mainly on keyboards. Silas has been a Worship leader for several years at his local church, writes, sings and has played keys for groups playing contemporary Christian music. Writing music for several Christmas and Easter productions has also been an important part of his passion, including songs that have been heard around the world.

This is his debut solo album, featuring hits like the powerful moving "HE SET ME FREE", and the beautiful classic "MERRY CHRISTMAS MOM AND DAD". Keep your eyes and ears open for a truly inspirational sound coming out of the North Georgia area. Melvin "Silas" Boyd, a new experience.
