"I hear your heart in your fingertips when you play the piano, Mark." the lady exclaimed with tears in her eyes. Mark Bovee learned to play piano growing up in Sitka, AK. He practiced for hours during dark winters. He toured for three years as the keyboardist with the Christian group "TRUTH" where he met his wife, Christi. Mark received his Master's degree in Jazz Studies (Piano) from the University of North Texas in 1992. The Bovees reside in Woodland Park, CO. They are freelance musicians/writers, itinerant worship leaders and lovers of community. Mark is the owner-operator of the company Creative Ivory music (http://www.creativeivory.com) where he acts as pianist/arranger-orchestrator. Mark has over twenty years experience in the music ministry and music industry involving worship leading, sequencing, producing, orchestrating, recording, and music engraving. Mark and Christi have been itinerant worship leaders with various churches and ministries nationwide for many years. Mark has been involved in projects for local and national ministries including Hosanna! Integrity, Maranatha!, Day of Discovery, Christ for the Nations, Amber Rose Music, and many others. Mark's vision is for the people to be united with each other and the Creator through passionate worship. His passion is focused on two areas. First, he is for the worship of our Savior in Spirit and Truth. Secondly, Mark is about challenging and equipping other artists. This second passion is lived out through his outreach to artists, Greenhouse Arts. Greenhouse Arts exists to nurture artists of all mediums by offering them support, encouragement and accountability in walking fully in their God given destiny. Greenhouse offers an online community for artists to interact with others from around the globe (website under construction). Greenhouse also offers international teleconferences on the arts with talented speakers and rich community interaction. Greenhouse Arts also affords artists a chance to stay at The Greenhouse, an artist house available on a limited basis for artists to retreat and create. Most importantly, there is a living Greenhouse Arts community that gathers, loves and grows creatively in full view of the north face of Pikes Peak in Woodland Park, Colorado.
