A really fine band and CD
author: preames
I ran across Mucho Buddha at The District while stumbling around downtown Albuquerque, suffering from beer poisoning. I haven't heard as rich a live performance since my college days in Stillwater OK listening to an unknown Garth Brooks playing at Tumbleweeds. These guys are truely extraordinary musicians, able to create a cohesive sound in a less than ideal setting. Chuck Hawley’s lead guitar and vocals are a perfect match for the high energy, eclectic songs. While I have to say that my enjoyment of their CD is probably influenced by my memory of their live performance, it’s a great showcase of their talent, even if it is a little over engineered at times, taking away some of the wildness of their live sets. My recommendation…buy the CD and then search out the band at one of their live performances around Albuquerque.

Diverse musical landscapes, inspiring lyrics, and lots of groove, baby!
author: Lane Andress
The music is so diverse, it is deep and inspiring lyrically, extremely groovin', rockin' and jammin' with a touch of good 'ole hoe-down country style. The music makes you want to get up and dance in your living room for the sheer joy of being alive!
Everyone should check out several sound clips because one alone will not capture the many varieties on this album (heck even on clip of one song may not capture what may be in the whole song!).
