notes
Too Happy is the debut 1997 release from Mudcat Jones.
At the time of recording the band was young, raw and full of enthusiasm.
With the help of producer Marco Delmar (emmet swimming, Ode to Abbey), the band focused their wayward energy into a cohesive, song driven format.
While the band has come a long way since their debut, the album helped the band make their name on East Coast.
Without formal distribution of any kind, Too Happy has sold over 3000 copies, won critical and public acclaim for a sound that was both "fresh" and "brash", and made the young group an act to keep an eye on.
