ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Muddy Fork started out three years ago.We all knew each other and music has been a big part of our lives for many years. So we met one Friday evening out at Dave's barn. With the wood stove keeping the chill off,we picked up our instruments and started playing music. The old feel of the music came natural to us all.Almost like there were old souls around, guiding us in our thoughts.
After a few times of us getting together,we decided to record some of the music on an old tape recorder so we'd remember some of melodies we'd come up with.Tony would come up with words to these melodies.Almost as if someone in the past was there, helping him out.We are all very spiritually inclined and feel a lot of our music comes from the past liefs of others.Yes we all would add a word here or change a cord progression, but we seemed to click. We seemed to be on the same page when it came to coming up with songs.
There are some evenings when we just sit around and talk and joke around.Kind of hang out for awhile, but one of us will pick up the banjo or guitar and we're back at it.We have so many songs on those cassette tapes just waiting for us.We'll get to them...Hopefully.
So when you read that our music comes from our hearts and souls....it truly does....Muddy Fork

Excellent
A very pleasing sound with lyrics powerful enough to bring images to mind. It just an excellent cd to listen to while you drive or while you work or while you are just relaxing. Thanks
