Album Notes

For mudhouse, poignant lyrics, rootsy acoustic music, and a gospel driven sincerity tell the story of love, faith, death, loss, and hope. This acoustic duo from the east coast uses simplicity and truth to suggest that there is more to life than what we see, do, or say. All across the world people need to know that they are loved. Todd Miller and Brian Spahr are two long-time music and ministry veterans. Both have travelled and performed extensively for crowds of all sizes, and for people of all ages. They have joined together to share their passion for the Gospel and their desire to lead people in vibrant, meaningful worship.
Todd (who also plays with the Christian band, Echelon) loves good music, good food, fly-fishing and Jesus. Todd lives in Virginia with his wife, Jennifer, and son, Sean.

Brian lives in Annapolis, MD (with his wife Michelle and their dog millie) and he is studying to be a pastor at Gettysburg Lutheran Seminary. When he is not reading books on thelogy, he can usually be found writing papers about them, but for fun he loves listening to tunes over iced coffee at the local coffee shop, walking in the woods, eating spicy foods, watching cheesy reality TV, and reading books on theology.

REVIEWS

from track one mudhouse draw you into worship
author: Eric Luedtke
Come, Lord Jesus, Come draws you into this wonderful album of genuine worship. It's simple message sets the stage and calls the listener to worship without pretense or flowery language. From there this collection of songs draws on Psalms and personal experience lifted to God. The accompaniment is strong and yet understated providing a drive but not getting in the way. The album balances original compositions with new arrangements of powerful hymns. If you think all worship CDs are the same, then you owe it to yourself to check out Mudhouse!
