This Mudslide CD is fast, hard, and hard and fast 80s style thrash, because we recorded it on George's sweet 16-track at last. He didn't know if he wanted to loan it to Steve, but Kevin made a quick deal and the machine landed in Steve's lap. Steve had to program the thing and read through the owner's manual like a mad dog while still having to rehearse the solos and remember everything and get the buttons down. So the three of them had planned for a Saturday afternoon recording session and had actually planned to record it in 3 or 4 days time but when they found out that George was out on the tiles somewhere with Adelaine, his girl, Steve and Kevin quickly set up the jackson guitar and the ludwig drums, putting 5 mics on the drums and making a slingshot mic box out of a postal mail box and catching all the high electric wailing tones off Steve's jackson at just the right sonic bliss to compliment his best vocals yet, he really burst out and got all the words down while playing the rhythm and the lead in one big fast stroke of his right hand and then he mixed it down and had George come flying in the next 2 days to lay down the big fat bass notes immediately it went through a series of 3 or 4 mixes, first by Steve, then by George and finally by Steve again using his superior software, with Kevin at his side producing and giving engineering tips to both George and Steve they managed to accomplish the impossible and put out a rare limited edition hot lead CD by the band that should go to discmakers and be printed up by the thousands but right now we're just selling what copies we can print up off Steve's super fast computer, so don't be surprised if you have to wait when you place your order because they're going fast and we'll expect you to expect it no sooner then 8 weeks at the soonest. If you're really interested we can even print up a Dark Prophet t-shirt with the picture of the band themselves and the dark prophet drawing that Steve's artistic wave of the hand came up with. This should be played loud and these tunes should be requested on your local rock radio, like KZOK, KISW and funky monkey and request: "tomorrow's future," "endless torment," or "love undercover."
