A Long Island native and current NYC squatter, Adam has devoted himself to his art and his love of music. Upon finishing his Masters from the University of Buffalo with a degree in Humanities, and American Studies, He embarked on the scene as an “under the radar” songwriter in the Summer of 2001, performing in local NYC venues like the sidewalk café, CB’s gallery, The Bitter End, and Luna Lounge. His first introduction to mainstream listener ship was found in the cinema, upon independently placing his song “Have Mercy” (his demo recording) as the closing scene and credits to Toby Mcguires independent short film “whatever we do” starring Robert Downie Jr., Tim Roth, Amanda Peet and Zooie Deschenel. That dream slowly is becoming the reality as Adam Mugavero independently releases his first debut record—Breathe.

Adam has done a great job of living through this music. He does not try to "relate" to others with his music, but rather to "display" his soul, a method not used by many others these days. I want to hear more up beat songs from adam, because I know they'd be wonderful and might draw a larger croud, but this is his style, and it is unique, it is adam mugavero.

A contemporary amalagamation of layered vibrations twisting in ocsillating movements reaching a complexion that stands. This album "Breathe"s involuntarily. Quality composition and balance. Recommended.
