Seasoned songwriter, Tami Mulcahy took the songwriting idea to a local grade school. She gave the kids a concept, helped them build the story and pulled it all together with her know how" of pop, folk and country music.

The lyrics are amazingly positive, intuitive and sensitive.

No toddler music here. This CD is for kids who have graduated beyond that and are ready for next step.

Tami invited guest singers to help her out with lead vocals on songs where only a kid could really send the message. "When my feet hit the ground, I cool down when I Go Out Walking". Who better than kids themselves to tell the world, "if you want to build your future, here's your stock, Kids Rock".

    We got this CD from a friend and I didn't put it in the player for a while because my kids are so young (2 and 4), but as soon as I did, it was an instant hit. Both my preschoolers love Tami Mulcahy's music, they have their own favorite songs and sing along to all of them. "I want Tami!" is a frequent request in our car. (O.K., that's more of a demand). And I enjoy singing along too. Hoping we don't wear this CD out too soon. And thrilled that my kids have found a singer to make them big fans!

    It would be a great world if we would all follow the advice in Give Some Back. This CD is a joy. It captures the spirit of children without being childish. As a former principal it makes me wish I was back at a school where I could get kids singing with a creative musician. The songs on this CD speak volumes about what can happen with such a mix.
