Album Notes

This cd kicks off with Levi playing three Texas fiddles (how does he do that?!) on the instant classic "The Likes Of Me", complimented by steel guitar legend Dickie Overby on the 'Tulsa neck'. Once again combining his honest, sincere vocal style with some of the most in depth lyrics since the great Roger Miller, Mullen showcases in order, what he admittedly does best: write, play, and sing. Most fans already know he's a musical virtuoso. (In his first three gigs with honky tonk legend Johnny Bush, he filled three different slots including lead guitar, drums, and fiddle, and was on the ready for bass and steel guitar!) Western swing, ballads, and good ol' dance hall shuffles, they're all here.

If you like Honky Tonk Music, buy this CD

The overall sound quality of this CD is amazing, it is far better than most of the commercial CD's that I have bought. The balance between vocals and intstrumentals is exceptional, and the song selections are outstanding. This CD provides a welcome relief from the pre-programmed Nashville music.
