Album Notes

Originally signed to Island records, Mumblin Jim was flown to the Bahamas to record at Compass Point Studios (Bjork, Tricky, Lenny Kravitz) with Dan "The Automator" Nakamura (from Dr. Octogon, produced Cornershop, Jon Spencer, Stereolab). Mumblin Jim escaped the label "restructure" with the rights to their masters. Modern urban soul/funk/pop, Billboard says it "mixes classic garage-band abandon with a stylish, soulful, '70s inspired groove."
