Mundy-Turner: international duo formed in Australia in 1995, and now based in the UK, comprising Cath Mundy of Brisbane, Australia (vocals, violin, piano) and the UK's Jay Turner (vocals, acoustic guitar, harmonica). Together they produce stunning original music, often political and thought-provoking but equally soulful and upbeat, while based in strong commitment to issues of human rights and social justice.

As a duo, they have released 5 critically acclaimed albums on their own label Gypsy Records, "High Life" (1998), "Naked" (2000), a live album "Wholly Road!" (2002), "Crooked House" (2002) and the recent seasonal splash "Mundy-Turner's Bonzer Aussie Christmas" (2004).

"High Life" won a Queenland Recording Association SUNNIE AWARD for BEST FOLK-ETHNIC ALBUM 1999 and Get There From Here (track 1) and High Life (track 7) were playlisted nationally by ABC Radio in Australia.

Mundy-Turner were a huge success as support to the legendary British folk-rock band Fairport Convention on their UK Winter Tour 2004 and have appeared at Fairport's annual extravaganza Cropredy Festival, alongside the greats of acoustic folk-rock music, attended by an audience of over 20,000.
