Album Notes

What is Fatty Arbuckle’s coke bottle? Why is it so important? And more importantly, how in the world did Munkey Juice manage to put out eight albums, yet never get a Grammy or appear on Carson Daly? Probably because they’re actually interesting musicians making interesting music. But, until the Dali Lama can lead the people towards this insightful enlightenment, you’ll have to settle for having your musical dick kicked in by the sheer hard-rockingness of their trademark well-craftedness.

THE GRADE: A

- Vinnie Baggadonuts- Taste Like Chicken 1/2006

Munkey Juice originally sprouted from the backwoods of Ohio, to emerge as a rock n’ roll beast in the great twin cities of the north. Munkey Juice has released eight full-length albums, and four EP’s on their own label: Choose To Lose Records. Nelson Heise established the band in 1995 with his brother Robert. The band has had several drummers and currently Stacie Archer plays drums for the band in his triumphant return to MJ. MJ 's eighth album "Fatty Arbuckle's Coke Bottle" will be released stimutaneously with "Ten Under Sixty Vol.3" early 2006. Rick Pavlik and Dan Kaping accompanied the brothers on the "Fatty Arbuckle" release. Need to know more, contact the band at the information provided below.
