Why isn't this guy nationally know? Just listen to the album! It is phenomenal. The album has a range of blues from the mild and tasty to a couple of edgy blues tunes. Take "Carefree" for instance, as tasty as any of the current great artists. Actually my favorite on the album. Additionally, there are tastes of Memphis style, soulful blues, rough edged and so on. The diversity makes the album far from boring and mundane. Like a fine wine that suggests hints of its contents, I am reminded of so many potential influences that must have brought David to this point.

After listening to this "Master of the Stratocaster"For awhile now,it seems that every disc gets better.I kept thinking"How can he top this"after each effort. The song writing is excellent. The musicianship here is beyond description in this small space .The recording, the double tracking,as well as the production is all top notch.Dave has interwoven each song to the next, with amazing dexterity. How can you write an entire Blues album, and not use the standard 12 bar progression?I will tell you how..one word comes to mind, effortlessly!! Thats how.
Harmony guitars,in your face drumming, flowing bass lines, what more can be said?? I know I will be buying this album for gifts at the holiday season..And you?
