You're traveling down an unknown road through unfamiliar country – a strange land that seems to prey on your very senses – invading sight… sound… mind. A journey into a terrifying dimension whose boundaries are defined only by the horrific limits of imagination. That's a signpost up ahead: your next stop: Murderland!
Murderland is a five-piece band, founded in 2005 by a handful of punk rockers, metalheads, comic book geeks and music school drop-outs in Hollywood California. Initially inspired by an obsessive love for the Misfits’ brand of horror-themed punk, Murderland has since mutated to encompass the eclectic influences of it’s members – casting dashes of old school pop punk, hardcore, extreme metal, powerpop, skate punk, 50s/60s rock n’ roll and country into the proverbial witches cauldron – the result of which is a one-of-a-kind tongue-in-cheek punk rockin’ splatterfest!
Murderland has played stages all around the Country with bands such as Blitzkid, Teenage Bottle Rocket, Dead To Me, Calabrese, Michael Graves, Rezurex, Stellar Corpses, The Hellbillies, Loco Frank and many others. Their live show is an assault on the senses as they bring an insane energy cut with humorously unpredictable antics to their special brand of punk rock – as fast and brutal as a rocket-propelled howitzer; as catchy as a pesky venereal disease; and with just enough pop goodness to send you to the verge of a delirious diabetic coma!
With a critically acclaimed E.P. already on the shelves, featured songs on upcoming compilations world wide, various multimedia projects in the works and a brand new full length record coming soon, Murderland continues to melt faces off with the almighty death ray of “sleazy listening”!
Don’t look in the basement!
Don’t answer the phone!
Stay out of the house by the cemetery!
You never know when Murderland could be invading YOUR town.
