REVIEWS

Variety of players
author: Eric Jensen
Some amazing guitar players. Tommy Emmanuel, for starters, has his version of Classical Gas and a duet version with Muriel Anderson of Vincent. Those two cuts alone make it worth it, but there are lots of other good ones. Something for everyone stylewise, which also means everyone will find a few they're less wild about. All are great players, but production values aren't that high (guitars sometimes a long way out of tune, so-so video quality). Done for guitarists, with lots of great close up fingering shots. I'd buy it again.

I have been waiting for this DVD for 4 years! Having been to several of these events I knew what to expect in the quality of performances. The camera work was great, the sound was great - all in all this DVD does a wonder job of capturing the moment. Now, if they would only release the others - especially the 2003 performance at the Ryman Auditorium featuring Les Paul!
