Jeanna has been a huge fan of music since she became aware of its existence. Since an early age she was fascinated with the captivating power it held over her. All of it was magical and every song held some new discovery about the world around. It was intoxicating.
By the time college rolled around she had finally excepted her place in this world as a composer and received a Bachelor's of Music degree in Composition. Her proudest achievement was walking at commencements to receive her diploma.
"I've never considered myself book smart so walking across that stage was a huge accomplishment. It proved to me that ANYTHING is possible. You just have to work really, really hard at it and never stop; dedicate yourself to the task at hand and it will see itself through."
In 2004 she won an Honorable Mention in the Billboard World Songwriting Contest for a song called "Dream". In 2005 she scored the music for a trilogy of Greek plays. She's been to countless workshops, seminars and conferences, read hundreds of music business books and dedicated countless hours to composing.
"I want my hobby to become my career and I won't stop till I'm there. Although I would love to do music full time, even if I never made a dollar, it would all be worth it. I love music for what it is and I think that that shows. I would never dream of stopping. I don't even think that I could at this point; so I won't."
Jeanna is so excited for all of you to hear what she has worked so hard to put in front of you. She'd love to hear from all of you on what you think.
