Misty Murphy's second solo c.d. VENUS is a body of work after 5 years between CIRCLES. Written, mixed, produced and performed solely by Misty, this album takes her talents to a new level. Armed with her guitars, keyboard, and a microphone, she set out to do something that she had dreamed of.........recording it all on her own.

Unleashed, the first song on the album, introduces a mood that is recurrent throughout the album. Her unbridled emotional energy and the chemistry she creates with swirling guitars, piano, and vocal harmonies will draw you in. Misty was inspired to write these songs from the dynamics of relationships with others, oneself and the world. In GOD We Trust is an anthem to the generations who will forever be effected by 911.
