Recorded in 2008 at Kensington, California in the Unitarian Universalist Church in the hills over Berkeley, this is a third album for Janet Murray. Having previously recorded blues and jazz, this genre reversal was a return to her original music study, a love reignited by her commencement of study with classical pianist Daniel Glover. Together they performed duets in 2004 and 2006 at the Sherman Clay Steinway Gallery in Walnut Creek, California. Solo and in groups, Janet has continued to perform publicly.
Her love of the famous composers: the granduer of Beethoven, the pathos of Chopin, Massenet, and Morovsky, the soaring joy of Grieg, the charm of Debussy, the Latin rhythms of Granados and Albeniz - all of these are reproduced here.
