Album Notes

Order this album and we will send you a link to 2 of Murrays new songs as mp3 downloads. So you can be listening to his new tunes while you wait!

Murray Wall has been playing music for 35 years and playing the guitar for just as long.

And it shows.

His musical inspiration comes from people like Leo Kottke, Steely Dan, Phoebe Snow, Bruce Cockburn, John Martyn, JJ Cale, The Beatles, Joni Mitchell, Kate Bush, and Rickie Lee Jones, to name but a few!

But his voice? Well, we think he sounds like Jeff Buckley.

This is an album of six songs and three instrumental tracks. His guitar style is a blend - funk, bluegrass, jazz, with a touch of Windham Hill-like classical elements. All tracks except “Off The Rails” are recorded live so that all we hear is one voice and/or one guitar.

Technically brilliant. Lyrically perceptive.

Murray's music is a fresh interpretation of a much loved genre, or two!
