Prog ambient industrial

Stories is certainly cinematic in nature. It could easily be a soundtrack for a film noir or even a classic gothic horror movie. Sounds seem to ebb and flow from one song to the next as they take the listener on a journey through the streets of musim's own design. While there may be some low points, the album is solid and tight. Each song seems to build upon the next with rising action until the climax and the fall. Superb. I would also recommend this album for fans of Pink Floyd and other progressive bands.

I just heard Stories (and MusiM itself, for that matter) for the first time today, and I loved it! My advice = listen to Shadows, and that's all you'll need to decide for yourself that it's great. I was pleasantly surprised, and it's definitely worth the money.

Musim has crossed the abyss and taken us with him.

I first met Musim many years ago while looking for musicians to hang out with. My immediate first impression was that his was a music far removed from the plastic and mechanical reproductions that I heard all around me at the time, and which are still running rampant today.
Over the years, Musim's sound hos evolved from its inial brilliance to a state of being that can only be described as prima magnificus.
Trying to describe this music in words is like trying to describe the voice of God using hand puppets. You absolutely must give it a listen at least once. If you don't like what you hear, its not Musim's fault.
