From inspiration to a song. That is what started the group Muzikwerks. A group of talented Filipinos in Northern Virginia geared towards the creation of original compositions in Filipino & English and the production of albums. With songs like "Natural Na Natural," "O, Bakit Ba Kasi" or "Anong Balita D'yan" from their first album entitled "Get 2 Know Me" the catchy tunes remind people of songs back home. Having written songs in English as well, like "I Am Yours," "We'll Find A Way," or "A Case Of A Broken Heart" shows the versatility of the group without losing its 'OPM' sound.

Muzikwerks released its first CD album in December 2000 and have marketed it through the local Filipino stores in the metroWashington, D.C. area. The songwriters of Muzikwerks are signed with the Philippine-based publishing company Manila Alpha Genesis. In November 2001 the group released an all-original 3-song Christmas CD album entitled "Xmas Werks."

Muzikwerks also produced the first album of the Virginia-based Filipino band called "Different Shadows" (now called No Distinction www.nodistinction.com). For 2002, Muzikwerks produced the CD albums of a DC-based Filipina talent named "Asia" and the Maryland-based Filipino alternative band called "Chadburn" (www.chadburn-band.com).

On July15, 2003, the group's 3rd album was released entitled "Muzikwerks." The album contains 16 songs in Filipino and in English ranging from pop, ballad, love songs to dance.
