Album Notes

Born in 2006, in Portugal, as a side project from (at the time) lead guitar and singer from Fullmoonchild ( gothic metal with influences from the neighbours Moonspell ), Pedro "Winter" started My Deception as a side project, that was deeply influenced with the new age of Gothic Metal&Rock from the northern Countries. Finland for example, with bands such as Charon, HIM, For My Pain, The 69 Eyes. Also with influences from Paradise Lost, Anathema, My Dying Bride...My Deception soon became the fulltime main band. After lots of gigs north to south of their home country, MD finally got funds to record properly the first EP . This is it!The full lenght album is already composed, will be recorded in the begining of 2012, and will feauture some of these songs as bonus tracks.

The band now really wants to play outside Portugal and find a major label. Wish us luck, and we will wish you!
