Album Notes

Remastered for 2008! The CD that is sold here on CD Baby is an exclusive new edition promised not to make your ears bleed while listening. It's true I engineer, mix and (what I call, but not officially consider) master my own CDs. I do this because I'm just a regular guy, who's intelligent enough to use computers, but poor enough to be 100% do it myself. When I made the original album in 2005 I was still learning a lot (I still am learning a lot) about the whole process. I liked the songs I wrote on this record so I decided to go back in and fix a few things, and here it is. This album contains the song of the same name, A Planned Escape, that was featured in the indie cult film B.I.K.E. ( official site - http://www.bike-films.com/ )

THERE IS A NEW GANNON ALBUM ON THE HORIZON!! "Oh Look it's Morning Again" is due out in late September/early October. Be sure to look for it, and if you'd like updates send me an email. Rock On.

(from 2005)
A Planned Escape is the second official offering from solo act Gannon, based somewhere between Los Angeles and it's bastard child of Santa Monica. I look around, and lately Santa Monica seems pretty nice. Everything was recorded by me, fueled by the intense rain that flooded part of my house. Ahh California, what a beautiful place. Sometimes we all need to escape, this is mine.
