Album Notes

There is nothing blissful about "A Blissful Eve." It is a musical roller-coaster ride; an anthology of a young man's entry into adulthood; his rite of passage. It begins with the rise of innocence; an optimistic view of life through rose-colored glasses. Then, it drops down into the high G twist and turns of first love and loss, obsessions, and substance abuse. In the last leg home, he sees what life has to give. Accepting responsibility, he decides this is not how he wants to live.

Formed in January 2007, My Last Revelation is made up of three young teens: Derrick Hatch, 17; Jared Miller, 16; and Kevin Hatch, 14. They write and perform their own unique style of music with positive, clean lyrics with hard-driven choruses. However, it isn't all about sunshine and rainbows in a land of fantasy. It's about the positive and negative aspects of life; and the power of hope.

A Blissful Eve includes the very first song the lads wrote together two years ago: Look To The West. It also includes their latest song: Fallen Too Short; showing the contrasts of their past and present.

The CD was recorded in Anaheim, California, then mixed and mastered in Nashville, Tennessee by grammy-award-winning artists, Ron Fairchild and Freddy Satterfield.
