The new record from Michael Juan Nunez is here! This time around Nunez collaborates with his long time bassist Chad Willis, and long time friend and drumming monster Clint "Chief" Redwing. MJN also teams up with producer A.J. Dauphin (who produced Michael's 'About To Snap' record) and Grammy winning engineer Tony Daigle. The result is 'My Little Train Wreck' an albums worth of stories, grooves, and chops delivered as only Michael Juan can. This is a 180 degree turn from his last record 'The American Electric' which was his most eclectic, to what might be his most accessible record to date. Accessible in the since that the production is huge, yet simple...the tones range from mean and snarling, to crying and pulling on the listener's heart...and the songs themselves are just good ol' rock-n-roll from South Louisiana!
A guest appearance by Sonny Landreth on the title track is not only incredible, it shows that Nunez can certainly hold his own with one of the best guitarist in the world...and then some.
Wicked slide guitar...slamming shuffles, and grooves, and stories about life in Cajun and Creole country..."My Little Train Wreck" is sure to make your next trip, or Bar B Q better!!!
