ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
"Myristica creates delicate, spacious, magical musical vignettes that somehow manage to be both simple and natural, and yet complex and subtle at the same time. I like the timeless, wistful, 'natural child' quality in her compositions, the plaintive melodies that reach for joy but sometimes hint at sorrow, the great poise and integrity in her textures and arrangements and the charm, beauty and balance inherent in her soulful musical expressions.
There is a fragile, faraway playfulness in her music, as she succeeds in bringing the rarified celestial dimensions a little closer to earth... building a bridge to the stars and the heavenly bodies, and all the radiance and higher feeling that they symbolise.
These pieces are reflective and meditative... deeply relaxing and soothing. I listen in my car, I recommend them for healing and meditation workshops, and I know mother and children love their beguiling sense of calm. They are also great chillout pieces... harmonisingly ambient! Myristica creates music to nurture the emotional heart."

~ Asher Quinn, Singer/Songwriter, London, UK

"Mei's 2nd album To The Moon And Stars is a pure magical album of enchanting music to which is done in her unique style that as always said something to me. She composes music of sheer beauty and it touches my heart listening to it, and just like her debut album Sea of Dreams this was a must for my record collection. A wonderful 10 track album and solid in the way that every track is purely magical and is wonderful chilled out music done by a wonderful talented lady. This album is worth every penny and the production and mastering by Shaun Britton brings quality for money with this release. I highly recommend it for your ears, it does wonders."

~ Lee Lucas, Singer/Songwriter & Instrumentalist, Solihull, UK

"I discovered your music on Soundcloud, and I think you are one of the most interesting artists I have come across there. The beauty and stillness you capture in your songs are very well needed in the stressful environment surrounding us today." ~ Ingemar Holmlid, Musician, Sweden

"There is an energy in your music and rhythms that allow for an opening between worlds." ~ George Pascanu, Romania

"Your music is always like a service station in my life, whenever I hear your emotions and beauty of this world poured into each chord, my life seems to pause as I meditate on what your music means inside the soul." ~ Luke Chinnock, Musician, UK
