My Rude Awakening’s debut CD is heavy, hard hitting, in your face rock delivered in rare classic rock form from a group High School guys.

Growing up in the wake of Arlington Texas’ own Masters of Metal, Pantera influences My Rude Awakening’s sound of heavy guitar riffs with unsuspecting catchy melodies and witty social content years beyond their age.

My Rude Awakening’s self–titled first release offers 10 tracks of unstoppable teenage drive from a teenage band that doesn’t have a license yet. My Haunting, Bleeding Tears and Heavy will shred the fingers off of Guitar Hero wannabes while songs like Everyone and Speechless show off MRA’s ability to be diverse. I’ve Seen Better Days and Get Some Attention move all feet in proximity of the stage. Track 3, Jennifer asks the perplexing question of a friend,
“did you find your way back home?” with the help of members from The Arlington High School choir.
