(Bio)The man behind the microphone known as MYSELF has just released his new critical acclaimed album "Protest in Disguise" on (The Couture Label).New Orleans native & New York city transplant MYSELF pushes the creative envelope to the outer limits on his new album.The record was recorded at The Legendary Chung King Studios NYC (Beastie Boys,Public Enemy,Run-Dmc,Nas & many many others).Protest in Disguise" combines the social/political-conscious energy of a Public Enemy / Rage Against The Machine record.The album starts off with a blazing hot funky street anthem "Keep the fire burnin'" and half way through it blends roots rock,hip hop,soul,and jazz like not too many albums been able to accomplish!!

The album is receiving airplay on college and internet radio stations.A Protest tour is in the works for later this year.MYSELF has worked,toured and collaborated with industry notables such as DJ logic,Dead Prez,The Meters,Rebirth Brass Band,Incubus,Arrested Development,Dr.Israel and a slew of other great artist!
