Album Notes

Mystery Date entertains audiences nationwide with their sophisticated, jazzy a cappella sounds and warm, inviting (and sometimes irreverent) stage presence. From New York cabarets and concert halls to theaters and arenas across the country, their performances are fueled with uncompromising musicianship, explosive energy and offbeat humor. Their repertoire defies categorization, ranging from Spike Jones and Gershwin classics to the B52s and contemporary songwriters like Alanis Morrisette and DesÕree.

Formerly known as 'Sons & Lovers', Mystery Date performs at universities, theaters, outdoor arenas, conferences and cultural events. Their critically acclaimed first recording ('Sons & Lovers') is available on CD and they've just released a new recording, 'Sweet Sixteen'.

In their new incarnation, Mystery Date has a dynamic sound and sassy personality.
