Mystic Harmony is a trio of musicians based in Northern Virginia who play Celtic-influenced folk music. Their songs combine both old and new melodies with words that offer inspiration and comfort to the listener. Celtic melodies seem to illuminate feelings of joy and suffering, unrest and peace. Listening to the bending and bittersweet notes, the mix of minor and major keys, we are ultimately lifted up by music that touches the heart and soul. The meditative nature of Mystic Harmony's music has a special appeal to those in need of hope and healing. The artists hope their music will inspire a sense of mystery, wonder, and connection.
Mary Anne Brundage (lead vocals, harp)
Janet Booth (flute, whistle, vocals)
Janice Mawson (keyboard, vocals)
"At times our own light goes out and is rekindled by a spark from another person. Each of us has cause to think with deep gratitude of those who have lighted the flame within us." Albert Schweitzer

Comforting and Uplifting

I got this while my mother was dying with cancer. She was a devout Catholic and I practice an eastern tradition and yet both of us found this CD profoundly comforting and uplifting. Absolutely beautiful!

Awe-inspiring, evokes a deep sense of calmness and peace
author: April Gregg
I first heard a cut from the Kindle a Flame CD on the radio and asked for it for Christmas. I have played it regularly ever since, have recommended it to friends, and have given it as a gift to a friend in need of comforting. While the music is a little melancholy and tends to kindle inner reflection it is nonetheless soothing and evokes a deep sense of calmness and peace. It's difficult to describe the vocalists but awe-inspiring and heavenly would be a good start. What a terrific album...
