Album Notes

Armed with an arsenal of instruments and influences, Mythica takes the listener on a sonic rollercoaster ride through time, space and culture. Whether it’s a funky Celtic jam, jaunty bluegrass tune, soulful piano ballad or driving folk rock piece, Mythica’s songs are inventive but
accessible, fresh yet familiar. Inspired by traditional Irish music as much as by contemporary artists like Tori Amos, Massive Attack and Radiohead, Mythica’s sound is a melting pot of genres, including rock, alternative, ambient, bluegrass, folk and, of course, Celtic!

Instruments included on "Vicarious": triple female vocals, violin, hammered dulcimer, Uilleann pipes, mandolin, acoustic & electric guitars, keyboard/piano, bass, drum kit, bodhran, Irish whistle, flute. (AKA you will NOT get bored with this CD, or feel like you just heard the same song a track ago!)
