I love this recording! I have used it for yoga class. I've played it to ward off the blahs. It has helped me de-stress... My fave track is Raga Malkauns; Listening to it, one envisions the flow of a body of water. It rises and falls, makes you feel as if you're floating; facilitating some serious tai chi movement. A close second is Raga Kubkubh Bilawal. The blue note-bending in Mr. Sharma's vocals add even more soul to what is in itself a fabulous ensemble of tablas, sitar, and harmonium. We haven't had a real dose of Indian groove since Ravi Shankar hooked up with the Beatles. In my humble opinion, Mr. Sharma is poised to fill that void.
