Welcome to JCmyHP. Jesus Christ my Higher Power. Today we are looking at the 2003 CD from Naima. While this was new to me, and maybe it is to you, Naima has been on the scene for some time. I was blessed to see her perform Live at my church in May 2006. To repeat the cliché “She has the voice of an Angel” is to minimize the testimony you will feel in her songs.

Her dad’s victory she gives to the Glory of our God. Once we answer His call. That voice that sounds like thunder. We are ready to have our lives molded the rest of the way to bring Glory to God in Everything.

All things work together for the His good.. so even the bad is Good with Jesus….

This year Naima (as we speak I think) receives her PHD in education. Her story is exciting to hear. How wonderful to see this 35 year young woman lead this powerfull ministry in praise, prayer music. Her Father who works days and goes to school nights to take her family to a better life is her Hero here on earth. As she sings this nest song to Jesus she thinks of her days victories over cancer and the world. IN your shadow make us look deep into our Heroes.
I am in your shadow. If I could just let his shadow fall on me, if I could just touch the hem of His garment. What a beautiful song she prays.
Ascribe, that is a strange word. Naima tells us to Ascribe to Yahweh.
Psalm 29:1 Says” Ascribe to the LORD, O mighty ones,
ascribe to the LORD glory and strength.
Ascribe to God or Attribute to God might be the way we would say it today. We must give Glory to God for all He and we know He IS Everything.
The next Verse in 29:2
Ascribe to the LORD the glory due his name;
worship the LORD in the splendor of his [a] holiness..
Praise his Name and we see blessings….
You have to love her! Back staying in the Word. Job 13. Job finds his world in Shambles and tells us Thought HE slays me I will hope in hi, Job 13:15.
She adds “Finding peace in the mist of the battle”. Naima like a good servant of the Lord convicts us to look at what we do when our enemies are encamped around us.
What better way to leave this great CD and Continue on our day. Praising God!
“Praise God” tells us the devil tries to take our peace! Jesus died that we might live!and, We must Praise GOD he NEVER fails!
