Album Notes

Naked Angel are a stand alone band, like Pink Floyd, or Kate Bush, or Led Zepellin. They do not fit into a style- they have many styles. They don't always use the same instruments, and they are always shifting, changing , developing. The constants are Kat on vocals and keys, songwriter and singer, Wil on Djembes, drum kit and percussion, Brian Jenking on 6 string fretless bass, and Jim Dawson on guitars mandolins and effects pedals.
The band play live alot- everywhere from the Big Green Gathering, to Glastonbury, to Wembley Conference Centre.
The music is stunning, haunting, very memorable.
One woman described how it got her in touch with some very deep sad emotions, and it enabled her to go through them and then release them. But don't be fooled into thinking that's all there is to it because it isn't. It's sexy rhythm, electric guitars, very eloquent bass (taught for 4 years by Joe Hubbard) and emotional beautiful vocals.
The Cd is for late night, driving in the dark, chilling out at home with a fat one, laying on your back in a field full of festi-goers, conceiving your child to (yes we have reports that it happened) thinking to . It is NOT for parties, and NOT for raves.
