Album Notes

They play to a combination of rock, pop and strong 80's influence. Their brand of rock is similiar to that of the Foo Fighters and Tonic. They were the first Malaysian band to have a demo version of their song "Tribute" played on Malaysian radio air waves.

Originally turning to programmed drums and bass, "The Breed" were interested to be a two-piece band comprising of Justin and Rueben. However, due to technical difficulties, drummer Sara and bassist Jai were roped in to complete the current lineup.

Since 1999, nakedbreed have stormed the Malaysian underground music scene. Having been featured on a compilation album, with Malaysian radio stations playing their demo throughout Malaysia and accumulating a strong following of loyal fans and ardent supporters along the way. Nakedbreed had certainly proved their tenacity and determination to go as fast as they could in the Malaysian music industry.

Their demo being aired on radio sparked off the attention of a few recording labels until nakedbreed decided to become a part of the Fatboys family. Despite just being released at the beginning of July 2001, nakedbreed have already achieved much that they can be pleased about.

Its so hard to believe that these guys are from a country called Malaysia. They sound like they should be on billboard. Kinda unique I guess, interesting percussion work on Natural Source, and nice stuff on Tribute.
