Album Notes

Formed in 2004 in Quebec City, Canada, Naked Gun launched their first demo EP, Breaking The Odds, in 2006. One year later, the group broke the ice with their new drummer directly at the 2nd Skin Rock Contest III, the biggest battle of the bands in the province. Pitted against 40 other bands, Naked Gun reached the finals. In 2008, the band members go back in the studio to record their first french single, Je Me Souviens, a song about the loss of the Quebec Nordiques franchise, its cultural impact, and hope for a return. The single becomes their first Major Radio spin. (Radio X2 100.9) Right now, Naked Gun is getting ready to return to the live scene, with a new generation of songs that will show without a doubt their growth as a band.

Over in Canada, it’s not all hockey, bacon and maple syrup. No, there is some quality music coming from over there as well. OK, so we will forget Bryan Adams, Celine Dion and anything that Alanis Morissette did after her first album and thank them for such artists as Kid Koala, Joni Mitchell and new band Naked Gun.They are the latest addition to our ever expanding Band Aid section with a couple of rock tracks, Against My Ego and Lucky Days. More info on these lot, can be found on their own website... Enjoy.
