Namedropper is an instrumental fusion based group, consisting of Russ Klyne (guitar), Ray Garraway (Drums) (who also are members of Canadian Hip-Hop artist K-OS s band) Toby Peter (Bass) and Brad Turner (Keyboards and Trumpet). Klyne, Garraway and Peter were previously known as the rock trio Salvador Dream, which fans and people in the music industry have called one of the best Canadian rock bands ever! At the height of the grunge scene Salvador Dream, who was signed to Warner Music, delivered their original sound touring almost non stop from '93 to '96. They had 3 videos in medium rotation on Much Music. The next period of time saw their musical evolution and mutation into namedropper, during which they added Turner, and began recording and performing in the Vancouver city area. Brad Turner's phenomenal talents ars a trumpeter, pianist, drummer and composer make him one of Canada's most in demand musicians! In 98' Russ Klyne joined forces with K-OS, who soon invited Garraway and Peter to join in, to form a solid touring band. Fast forward to the present, with a year of touring performances, with K-OS, completed, namedropper brings its dreamy fusion of drum n'bass, hip-hop, ambient, break beat and dub to Vancouver once again...in 2006 a recent addition in namedropper has Sean Drabitt replacing Toby Peter on bass...

Nothing but good, I believe, will ever come out of the likes of Russ and Ray. I mean, I could listen to Ray play all day, no matter what the genre. Keep making music, brothers! Long live Salvador Dream!
